Esther said they chose Carey’s Manor because , ‘We had people travelling from all over and the majority of our guests were staying. A lovely location was therefore a major consideration. The New Forest was high on our list. My manager had mentioned she had travelled from their home in London specifically to get married at Careys Manor and we should take a look. We walked in and immediately knew we had found our venue after weeks of looking!’
The ceremony was held in The Lounge. It’s a beautiful room with a warm, rustic feel to it. Guests positioned themselves in the chairs provided and on the sofas dotted all around the room which made it all really intimate.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Manor Suite. The guests had a choice of three alternatives to each course.
Esther said, ‘The food and service was superb, and commented upon throughout the day by our guests. We moved onto the Cedar Suite for the evening reception. It had been set up almost immediately after the wedding breakfast so we didn't have to wait around. With only one wedding at Carey’s each day and using three of the rooms for different parts of the day it really felt like we had the hotel to ourselves!’
