The Tythe Barn is a beautiful 14th Century stone and thatched structure that has been sympathetically restored. Catering for unique indoor and outdoor ceremonies, set within superb landscaped gardens. The food is of exceptional standards and locally sourced and Jamie Oliver's Fabulous Feasts is now the superb in-house caterer.
Originally Jonathan and I had discussed getting married abroad but visiting The Tythe Barn in Bicester changed our minds. We both fell in love with its’ warm family feel and its stunning apparel. We didn’t visit anywhere else….we didn’t need to!
The team at the Tythe Barn are the people that made our day perfect! The organisation was outstanding.
We began our day being truly pampered in the Nook, a wonderful cottage, styled out as a glamorous studio for the bride, mother of the bride & her bridesmaids to blossom in.
The ceremony, wedding breakfast & after party were all held in the enchanting main barn but you wouldn't of known, at each interval the team turned the barn around with perfect flow creating a wow factor each time you walked in. While the Tythe Barn team worked hard we enjoyed time in the inviting country gardens and cow shed indulging in champagne, canapés, truffles & coffee. The cow shed is just another beautiful part of the magical venue.
It was our perfect day, we couldn't of asked for anything more. If we could do it all again we would not change a thing!
