Louise and Ritchie
Published: 09 February 2018First impressions are everything and Louise and Ritchie fell in love with the gorgeous views at Barnutopia during their initial visit. They booked knowing they would be the first couple to tie the knot at the venue. On the wedding weekend, friends and family decorated and dressed the barn and tables and there was a lovely party atmosphere on the Friday evening. They married on Saturday afternoon under an arch destined for their garden. After the ceremony, the wedding party wandered out onto the yurt field for some stunning pics with the Powys hills as the backdrop. One of the farm’s pet piggies tried to hog the limelight during a group pic.
For the evening celebration, they planned a rustic meal and chose to go with Barnutopia’s outdoor bbq griddle supper. Guests sat on bales of hay around flickering campfires while the band played under cover of the Dutch barn, a fantastic indoor/outdoor space. The bridal suite for the night was Bunkhouse Bethan, suitably made up for the happy couple.
