The boutique style Venue is placed on the River Mel amongst idyllic landscaped gardens. The 16th Century traditional building boasts original features, open fireplaces, exposed beams and elegant interior throughout. Each room is made to look and feel different, enhancing the character throughout the building, enabling you the opportunity to make each room your own. Sheene Mill is a particularly special place for Serena and Adam as they own and run it!
Serena and Adam spent 9 years together before getting engaged. They always knew it was on the agenda, but they had a business to run and that had to take priority. “We’d always said that we wanted to do it ‘properly’, so wanted to wait until we were able to do everything we wanted. On the day Jordan proposed, it was a complete surprise!”
Serena said ‘”Getting married at our own venue also meant I had complete trust in my staff and that they would execute everything the way they know I’d want it to be done. It also gave me the flexibility to really go ‘to town’ and actually enjoy the venue from the other side for once! But my staff did us proud, they all went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing day - it literally couldn’t have been better!! “
