Where do we even start with the lovely Sophie and Mike? We had the pleasure of hosting their wedding back in September of 2018 and what a great day it was!
Sophie and Mike held their ceremony in our beautiful, rustic ceremony room known as Poplar Barn. The room features a fairy light canopy and candles to really add to the intimate setting. The addition of lavender chair ends tied the decoration of the room together with Sophie’s beautiful bouquet.
Their ceremony started at 1:30pm followed by delicious canapés and welcome drinks of Pimms and lemonade for the ladies and lager for the gents in our Garden Room. The giant garden games which they provided went down a treat with the guests whilst Sophie and Mike took some time out along our gorgeous Chestnut tree-lined driveway with their photographer to get some fab shots. The photo of Sophie and Mike against the original barn door of Poplar barn is one of our absolute favourites!
For their wedding breakfast, Sophie and Mike chose the more relaxed option of our Manor Farm BBQ followed by the scrumptious pudding table comprised of mini desserts stacked on a light-up base; always a winner with the guests!
Their fantastic band was Funk Soul Brothers who, along with our resident DJ company “The Wedding DJs”, made sure that the dancefloor was full all night! The guests certainly had a fab time and we were honoured to be a part of their special day.
