Yvonne and David met through friends and Dave proposed on Yvonne’s birthday the 12th May 2014 in the Lake District at Lake Windermere
The couple wanted somewhere near Edinburgh for their wedding and Cringletie offered the freedom to do whatever they wanted and that nothing was too much trouble. Yvonne said ‘A lot of the other venues we went to would say to us 'no you can't do that or you can't do this' but Cringletie were happy for us to do whatever we wanted! The main rooms we would be using for the wedding such as the restaurant and the conservatory were also the nicest rooms we had seen and also the bedrooms were the best we had seen’

The singing waiters and saltire beat were both great and a real surprise for our guests which went down really well.
