Missenden Abbey

Thank you so much for the most perfect wedding day we could have hoped for! Everything ran so smoothly and we really were just able to sit back and relax and enjoy every second of the day. Natasha, thank you so much for your help, support and coordination in the lead up to the day and the day itself! Thank you for putting up with our hundreds of questions, changes to wedding package and for making our vision become a reality. We truly did have the best day of our lives and wish we could do it all again. Friends of ours have had such different experiences to us with their venues and found the planning challenging with stuffy venues. Missenden Abbey couldn’t be more different – everyone was so unbelievably friendly and helpful and made the entire experience fun and enjoyable from start to finish. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We just wanted to say a BIG thank you for all your help at our wedding. We had a fantastic day and you were able to iron out or clarify any queries we had so it all went smoothly. We have lovely photos and memories to share and remember! Everyone loved the food and the way that even for the evening food the layout and set up was so beautiful I wished I had taken a photo! Every year I photograph about six weddings at this fabulous Buckinghamshire venue, I just love all the amazing wow backdrops at the abbey, for photography options it doesn’t get much better! Also, the staff are so lovely and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. Every time I take a reservation for the abbey, I know I’ll be attending the most professionally organised & beautiful wedding. This is one of the few wedding venues where I witness couples dreams & wishes come true time after time, any newlyweds choosing this incredible venue will not be disappointed. And anyone lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at the abbey will no doubt be totally echanted & blown away by this magical place too!

Missenden Abbey was the first and only venue we viewed. After we had our initially viewing/ meeting with Natasha we knew we wanted to get married there! Natasha was amazing...she was always at the end of the phone or email. Our guests even complimented how smoothly everything went on the day & I felt so relaxed. I did not have one stress throughout the day. I would do it all again (and I would have done it the next day if I could). There is not one thing I would change about our wedding day. Missenden Abbey is definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a beautiful day!

Missenden Abbey is a wonderful backdrop to any wedding; the Abbey itself is full of character and the most amazing blank canvas due the the simple whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and wood complimented by modern art, sculpture and stained glass windows. And the staff could not have been more helpful ensuring everything ran smoothly; we didn't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy the day. Which was perfect!
