We can't recommend Clifford Barton enough and are so grateful to have had our wedding there. We want to say a huge thank you to Vicky and Gavin for all their help in the lead up to and on the weekend of the wedding. The site is absolutely stunning with the breathtaking backdrop of the Teign Valley, charming cottages, beautiful barn and stunning ceremony site all in one space. This venue is perfect for anyone who is looking for a space to get married where they have everything they could need in one place and the chance to make it their own entirely. We loved how secluded the site felt and how welcome Vicky and Gavin made us feel when visiting in the run up to and on the weekend of the wedding. Every detail was thought about from stocking the best mans cottage with extra pint glasses for a pre-ceremony drink, to lighting fire pits when it got cold, to helping with transport and everything in between. The ceremony site was what first attracted us to the venue, the bridge overlooking the lake is so romantic and unique and we felt so lucky to be able to get married there. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the barn is gorgeous to host the wedding breakfast. Our guests all said it was one of the best wedding they'd be to and some are already booking to go back and stay in the cottages again. Definitely book if you want a unique venue in a stunning secluded area with lots of scope to personalise the day.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our son and now daughter in laws wedding at Clifford Barton barn. The location, in a tranquil Dartmoor valley with a lakeside canopied bridge 10 min walk away along a country lane within the grounds of the property where the ceremony was conducted and with a beautiful barn for the reception was perfect. The owners Gavin and Vicki were so accommodating ensuring that the bride and grooms wishes were carried out wherever possible and it was lovely to have them around on the day to help out. The holiday accommodation alongside the barn was beautifully `appointed for all ages and a pleasure to stay in over the weekend. It was really useful to be so close at hand to help with the set up and clearing up and made the weekend run so much more smoothly.
