The large unspoilt traditional cobbled courtyard and coach house, are the perfect places for your guests to enjoy.
Our exclusive 400 year old candlelit Tithe Barn in the grounds of Meols Hall has been sympathetically restored by local craftsmen, using traditional methods. With features such as the original brick walls and open beamed ceiling making it a truly special and unique setting for your ceremony, reception, party or event. The Tithe Barn is full of rustic charm, and can be decorated by yourself to make the setting truly unique to you, a variety of florists, photographers, cake makers, music bands, ring bearing owls and other services can be recommended. In addition to Meols Hall Tithe Barn there is also the tastefully restored original coach house with its large french doors, which open out to the picturesque traditional cobbled courtyard, with patio tables, chairs and outdoor lanterns. Making this an ideal year round outdoor/indoor venue for entertaining your guests. The perfect place to relax and enjoy welcome drinks, and maybe a selection of delicious canapes whilst having your photographs taken. From 50 up to 120 guests can be catered for a ceremony/wedding reception with facilities for a maximum of 150 total guests in the evening. We are able to provide a complete package of catering, bar service, Master of Ceremonies and entertainment. We take pride in ensuring your wedding is as individual as you are. There are excellent photographic opportunities within the 100 acre Meols Hall estate. Meols Hall has acres of idyllic wooded parkland suitable for a host of outdoor activities including product launches, staff motivation, incentive schemes and Country Pursuit parties.

Churchtown is a tranquil, historic village on the northern fringe of Southport and dates back to the Domesday Book. It's a designated conservation area with pretty thatched roof cottages that you'll notice as soon as you arrive. Once here, you can browse through the village's specialist shops and stop for a bite to eat in its charming cafes and pubs or maybe take a walk through the beautiful Botanic Gardens. There is a large selection of hotels and B&B’s to suit all budgets in Southport, which is only a ten minute drive from Meols Hall. We are happy to pass on details for local accommodation. Preston is 30 minutes by car. There is a train station in Southport that connects with mainline stations eg Liverpool, Manchester & Wigan. Direct trains from Euston to Preston take 2hrs 10mins. Direct trains from Glasgow to Preston take 2hrs 16mins. Liverpool and Manchester airports are approximately 1 hour away from Meols Hall.
