Dodmoor House is a National Award Winning Wedding Venue in Northamptonshire and offers exclusive use, no corkage and the flexibility of being able to source all of your own suppliers for your wedding if you wish.
Dodmoor House is located within four-acres of private grounds, three miles from M1 J16 and in easy reach of Northampton, Rugby, Leicester and Milton Keynes.
We are a family-run venue and passionately believe in giving your wedding the personal touch it deserves. Exclusive use is guaranteed, and we provide you with an extensive list of local suppliers to contact if you choose. Alternatively, you can source your own suppliers, and we are happy to offer site visits to discuss ideas.
Dodmoor House is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, allowing you to host your wedding at the same venue as the reception and evening party, and is also the perfect place to host your celebrations after a church wedding.
We offer as much help in the planning as you want, and will hold an in-depth meeting with you before the day to ensure all details are covered and your day is as perfect as you imagined. We hold a number of Open Evenings throughout the year, giving you the chance to chat to us about ideas, meet suppliers and show your venue off to family and friends!
The Catesby Barn can seat 96 guests for your wedding breakfast, and with a maximum capacity of 180 guests for the evening celebrations.

Having our wedding at Dodmoor House was the best decision that we made in the whole of our planning process. As soon as we had our viewing, we knew that this was the place for us - the venue is absolutely beautiful, and the team obviously care so much about each wedding. There were so many special extras (eg. putting our photos up for us on the morning of the wedding, and preparing breakfast for us on the day after the wedding) - it is so clear that Dodmoor House is in a whole class of its own. Every second of our day ran smoothly, entirely thanks to the wonderful team. Our wedding coordinator made sure that everybody knew what they were doing and where they were supposed to be, and helped keep everything calm and organised - even when it started to rain a few seconds before my aisle walk! She knew the name of every groomsman and bridesmaid, and exactly what was happening at every second of the day - which made us feel so supported and relaxed. We’ve been to so many weddings that have been chaotic, and feel so lucky to have been able to relax and enjoy every second of our day, thanks to the tireless efforts of the team. We will always recommend Dodmoor House to our family and friends, and really hope that someone else chooses to have their wedding here, so that we can visit again and experience the venue as a guest! So many of our guests complimented the beautiful venue and the smooth running of the day, so we cannot thank you enough. You made our day unforgettable.

When viewing we instantly knew it was the place for us. The whole setup just suited what we wanted and it was a naturally beautiful location requiring little ‘dressing.’ We also liked the no corkage during the day which gave us the freedom/flexibility and we did not find this elsewhere. Our wedding coordinator couldn’t have done more for us and made us feel at ease. She was almost hidden to not impose on our day but as soon as required she swooped in to quickly resolve anything. This was the perfect balance and couldn’t have asked more from her. We loved every second of our day and the planning process was made easy due to the very helpful staff. We never doubted that the day would run smoothly.

Wow. We couldn’t have asked for better. Everything that we had planned with Dodmoor was executed to perfection. Our coordinator led us through the day and couldn’t do enough for us. The whole team on the day were amazing. They worked so hard in the background but we never felt as though they got in the way of our celebrations. The whole experience has been amazing. We have really enjoyed the journey and the final destination was a perfect wedding day. We are only sorry that we cannot come back and do it all again.

From start to finish Dodmoor have been amazing and a great support through postponing our wedding, even though they were facing uncertainties themselves. Every member of staff we’ve spoken to has been nothing but polite, friendly and professional and elevated any concerns we had about our day. Our wedding coordinator was a god send on the day and did a great job of keeping me calm and running the day so smoothly. We’ve been inundated with complements of our wedding and how beautiful everything looked, which we owe to all at Dodmoor. I’m so proud to have had shared our special day at Dodmoor, my only concern is that we can’t do it all over again! Dodmoor House was one of the many places we sent an enquiry to. Though an appointment had not been arranged, we were very close by when someone rang. So we turned the car round and went immediately. The venue was amazing. The dates available matched our plans. But most importantly we knew instantly the professionalism of the staff far exceeded anything we had seen. Levels of service were better than excellent. We just think all of the staff at Dodmoor are amazing. Our wedding coordinator was one in a million and is a true credit to Dodmoor. However I’m sure behind the scenes there are many others working just as hard.

The venue is stunning, the planning covered every detail and was calm and methodical throughout, and the execution was pretty much flawless, leading to a perfect, joyful day. The team were great, both in person and via e-mail. There was always a sense that everything was under control, nothing we could throw at them was going to knock anything off track. Our co-ordinator did an outstanding job, totally in control of everything from the moment we arrived, and made sure everything worked exactly as planned. The whole team were excellent and attentive, without being noticeable (in a kind way!) Honestly, the balance the whole Dodmoor team strikes between bringing their huge experience and love of weddings to bear, and enabling you to shape the day you imagine ion your heads is invaluable.
