The Tythe Barn is a beautiful 14th Century stone and thatched structure that has been sympathetically restored. Whilst some of the highlights of the barn are its historic character and the original features, you will be bowled over by the attention to detail that is evident throughout the venue, it's brilliant team and the service provided! They cater for unique indoor and outdoor ceremonies set within superb landscaped gardens. The food is of exceptional standards and provided by the award-winning Absolute Taste and often uses our local suppliers and neighbouring farms. They are incredibly relaxed and flexible.
They are thrilled to be able to offer you our newly-renovated farmhouse accommodation available for a one or two night break. It has seven double bedrooms, including a bridal-suite, two large reception rooms, a dining room, country kitchen, open fires, a tennis court, a wonderful wood-fuelled hot tub and there's an adjacent Shepherd's Hut with sleeping for two, all right next door to the barn!

We had our wedding at The Tythe Barn, Launton last August and could not recommend it more. From the moment we viewed the venue we knew it was for us. Everything was just a little bit “extra” compared to any other place we visited. The Farmhouse was still being renovated but we had no doubt that it would be just as spectacular as the barn, so didn’t hesitate to book without seeing the finished product. In the lead up to the wedding our wedding co-ordinator Tori was always there when we needed her, covering every detail and answering any questions we had. We knew we were in safe hands with Tori and any worries or stresses I had were alleviated by her organised and calm approach. This made the wedding planning process so much easier and less stressful and for that I am so grateful. On the day Tori was always around but never in the way – it felt like I just had an extra friend helping out which was so lovely. She kept everything running smoothly and any small hiccups e.g. a music blip she was straight on it sorting it. The Farmhouse – where to begin. This was such a great part of our experience and really helped to make the wedding morning relaxing. It was so nice to get to spend extra time with our family and friends and the Farmhouse itself is absolutely stunning. From the bath tubs, to the grounds, to the hot tub, bridal prep area, champagne bar, stunning kitchen area, every little bit of it has been so carefully thought through and nothing missed. The catering was amazing (for both the wedding and the night before meal) – we now understand why you only use these caterers. We received SO many comments from our guests on how great the food was. It really was delicious. I could go on for a long time about how perfect this venue and the staff are!! But I will round up and just say that if you are looking at having your wedding here, please do not hesitate to book. I wish we could do it all over again and we hope to be able to come back and stay at the Farmhouse again one day. Thank you to everyone at Tythe for giving us the best day of our lives!

What a magical venue, perfect for our autumnal fairy lit wedding. The Farmhouse to stay in is beautiful and perfect to be on-site, lovely addition to have the bridal suite half way to the venue and the venue itself offers everything you could possibly need. Tythe barn is a beautiful, informal venue. The farmhouse is a lovely place to stay - very much like a boutique hotel. The Nook (where) the bride & bridal party get ready on the morning of the big day is beautiful, secluded, calming & well equipped. The staff are very helpful & really do have a focus on making it the day you want.

There is something so magical about Tythe, and from the moment we visited we knew we had found the perfect place to celebrate with our family and friends. The attention to detail is second to none - there is nothing they haven't considered in making the venue the perfect choice to host a wedding.
