Set within 120 acres of mature gardens, grounds and woodland, our venue offers an abundance of spectacular backdrops. With luxurious on site accommodation for up to 30 guests and a team of in-house chefs, we offer everything you need for a relaxed and magical celebration.

What an amazing and beautiful venue! We had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and I would do it all over again. The venue is so gorgeous, the cottages are lovely and homely and the staff are friendly, welcoming and such wonderful people. John and Emma made our day so special we were sad to leave on the Sunday. The food on the day was absolutely divine and we have had so many great comments from the guests about it and the venue itself!! Words cannot describe how magical it is there and we loved our wedding day so much we would not have wanted it anywhere else. I would highly recommend having your wedding here. The Great Barn is "great" on so many levels, from the spectacular location in the Devon countryside, the attention to detail around their venue, the food and most definitely the staff, it could easily be renamed the incredible barn! It's a truly fantastic location to hold a wedding and a dream spot for me to work at as a wedding photographer!

Without question the Great Barn is the best and most beautiful wedding venue we have ever been to. The moment we walked in , it was deal done. All I would say is that no photo can do the barn justice!

The whole weekend from start to finish was impeccable.
John, Emma, Suzie, Tom and the entire team were just phenomenal. They could not have been more helpful, professional and attentive. Every little detail is thought about and it took a lot of stress off us before and on the big day.
Liaising with Suzie in the run up was so helpful, she always responded so quickly and nothing was too much to ask.
Could not recommend this venue more, there really isn't a single thing we would have changed about our wedding weekend other than wishing we could do it all again!
An absolute flawless 10/10.

My daughter and son in law chose this venue for their wedding last weekend.
From the beginning it was clear that we were dealing with an extremely well oiled machine!
Every single member of staff was attentive to our needs and requests.
The staff worked incredibly hard all day but managed everything without being intrusive.
The venue accommodation was simply stunning and provided everything we could possibly need for our stay.... every little detail had been thought of carefully.
The food at the wedding was amazing... beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
Every member of staff knew exactly what they were doing and were extremely professional and polite.
As the mother of the bride I was able to relax immediately and was confident that this was going to be a perfect day...this was possible largely to the team at the Great Barn.
I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this wedding venue and I am so grateful for the wonderful day we all had.
