Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens, is a luxurious exclusive use country house wedding venue, set in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside. The Hall is a truly romantic place, offering our couples the freedom to enjoy Kelmarsh as it was their home for the day.
Kelmarsh is home to unique fine rooms, perfect for ceremonies, drinks receptions and dancing the night away. All of the fine rooms are painted in beautiful pastel colours to suit any wedding theme. Along with the Hall, our exclusive use policy extends to the historic award winning gardens, which can be enjoyed by you and your guests for photographs and garden games.
Included in our wedding packages is overnight accommodation and taxi transfer for the bride and groom, tasteful infill flowers, garden games, a ‘getting ready’ room, SONOS sound system around the Hall, Baby Grand Piano in our Saloon, and little extras such as a matching cake stand and knife, easels and lanterns.

Licensed for Civil Ceremonies, Kelmarsh offers flexible wedding packages: from a simple ceremony and informal drinks reception, to a sumptuous wedding breakfast for up to 100 with an evening reception for 150. For more intimate ceremonies, our Orangery is provides a light and inviting setting for a ceremony of up to 40 overlooking the countryside. Larger wedding parties can be accommodated in a luxury marquee or rustic tipi on the lawns.

As you enter Kelmarsh Hall, you'll be charmed by the warm country house feel, mixed with a shabby chic 1920s design.
Licensed for civil ceremonies, the Orangery is a beautiful location for a rustic wedding, seating up to 38 guests.
For larger wedding celebrations, couples can make use of the marquee site on the South Lawn for a marquee or tipi wedding of up to 500 guests.
The Ballroom can cater for up to 100 people for dinner on round or long tables, and up to 150 people for a standing drinks reception.
The Saloon can cater for up to 100 people for a civil ceremony and up to 60 people for a seated dinner.
We are delighted to have Portfolio Events Ltd as our main caterers for weddings at Kelmarsh Hall.

From the moment we visited Kelmarsh, we knew it was the venue for our dream wedding. Like stepping right into an episode of Downton Abbey! We initially thought that it would be way out of our price range but were surprised to find out it came within our budget and was very reasonable especially as you and your guests get exclusive use of the house for the whole day. The team were exceptional from day one in helping us to organise and create the perfect day. We had a couple of viewings to show parents around on top of our viewing and they were always so accommodating. They also had a really handy list of suppliers that made picking things like the cake and photographer so much less stressful. We got married in October and the gardens were a beautiful backdrop for the photographs, we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. We also really loved the bridal room so the bride and party could get ready at the venue on the day. We both felt like Lord and lady of the house for the day and it is a moment we will never forget! Thank you to the Kelmarsh team for making our dream wedding come true and making the whole process a positive experience. Our friends and family still talk about how amazing it was.
